Would've feared for our PL future last year if Martinez had still been in charge. We were heading in only one direction under him and I dread to think about our final destination

If Martinez had miraculously kept his job, god forbid the dross that would have been on our books. Kone, would have had a new and improved contract and Niasse would have been Lukaku's successor. We'd have gone and bought Al-Habsi and copious amount of dirge Championship/Scotc Prem players to ensure we could finish lower than 12th.

I recall seeing Arnautovic had gone to Mutante Club but not seen much else. I wonder if @Moomin knows anything. I know people think we've a endless pot of money but surely once Sigursson comes in and a striker ( let's say Giroud for arguments sake ) then I'd reckon we've done our spending . Hope I'm wrong but any further additions will be a small fee I'd suggest . Grossinki ( apologies for woeful spelling but hull player ) was linked at circa 7/8 million I could see coming in as a squad player . Low money / low wage and think if we do bring in another CB it will be one thats in his early 30's ( not Collins ) . Think he will try and address the defensive issues in January and further afield next summer
