Yeh I like what I've seen but it is the MLS.
Exactly. Extremely low risk though. If he can't cut it, sell back to MLS for a minor loss at most. Clubs here already know he'll score in MLS.

I actually think we were loosely linked with him in January. Seems like something Walshy might do. We been linked again?

Yeh I think I'm just scared after seeing Altidore start slotting them in for Toronto and Bradley Wright-Phillips turning into Puskas. Not saying there isn't talent over there of course as there certainly is.
Haha Jozy also slotted in the Dutch league at an even higher rate. It's just a massive step up so will always be a gamble taking players from here. Low risk gamble though, and if you hit, you might hit big. Cyle is also Canadian, so we won't claim him as our product unless he turns out boss. If not, it's Canada's fault.

Edit: I think I just talked myself into it. Welcome to Everton Cyle.

I bet he'd be cheap as balls too considering Dwyer's fee being a record of some kind. Maybe he'll be the Canadian Zardes.

Oof I hope not. Don't rate Zardes at all. I recon 3mil would do it. Somehow Stoke managed to pay 4mil for a crap Brek Shea a few years back, so it won't be free. But in today's world, 3mil is pennies.

All these shouts about Cyle Larin who is Canadian like myself is rather interesting because he does have a good strike record for Orlando in MLS and is a regular Canadian international. He just got a DUI charge recently so wasn't immediately called up for the Gold Cup tournament which Canada was knocked out by Jamaica in the Quarter Final. He did finally get called up for the last game which we lost but was taken off around the 70th minute with little impact during his time. He'd be interesting but I think at 22 maybe be past the prospect stage and I feel his ceiling is championship at best. IMO

The real deal Canadian is Alphonso Davies. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alphonso_Davies

At 16 and having already made his international debut and scored 3 in 4 games in the Gold Cup is a guy all Canadian soccer fans are excited about. Left footed left sided player currently, with pace plays for Vancouver Whitecaps. Would be a good prospect.
