If hes only worth 30m next Summer, it means he hasnt kicked on, hes worth north of 30m already, if he continues for another season, well.

We only have 3 "strikers", none of them are your good old fashioned number 9 target man type, bar DCL, who is still a young pup.

Defence could certainly do with some tweaking.

Koeman has stated on numerous occasions he wants older more experienced players
Hence Rooney
Hence Siggy and Giroud
We have enough youth in the squad
Koeman obviously sees something in DCL so the likes of Giroud for 2/3 seasons while DCL matures suits Koeman for now.
If DCL doesn't make it 2/3 years then it's time to look at the situation plus at that time Sandro is coming into his prime.
