Said before but if/when Rom leaves, you have to remember that Valencia and Kone are leaving too so we have literally no strikers

We'll need to get three of them. Given we'll be starting with more or less a blank sheet of paper, I'd say we should be looking for three different types of player - A target man (in the Giroud mould), a fast, hard-working striker (in the Vardy mould) and a "clever" one who can also play as a number 10 if required (in the Rooney mould). I'm not saying necessarily those three individual players, just ones who play a similar style

Given Koeman had Pelle and Long at Southampton, I don't think it's too much of a stretch to suggest he might be thinking along similar lines

I would suggest Rooney Sandro and Batshuayi as 3 strikers. They can all be kept happy as sandro can play out wide at times and rooney deeper as well as the target man in Batsuayi, although admittedly no idea if he is that sort of player.

Batshuayi is basically Rom but not as good.

Sandro is clearly a target. Whether we can get him is a different matter.
