So if this is an admission of wrong doing then they are guilty as charged and should be banned. Actually demoted would be better. Serious stuff this tapping up...,set an example....harumph....burn them at the stake.

I'd imagine the apology and withdrawal from the chase comes with Southampton withdrawing their complaint.

Imagine they did get a transfer ban though, they'd still have a better net spend than us.

Didn't see that coming, I wonder if they are admitting to wrongdoing in the hope of avoiding an FA investigation. As for us I would have thought we'd have been all over De Vrij like a rash considering RonKo managed him at Feyenoord.
