I don't think he'd see the benefit in 6 meaningless CL games to either finish bottom of the group or drop back into the EL. I think he'd see the opportunity to move to a superior league, earn much more money and improve as a player.

Being so young, a Year of Champs league is just more strings to his bow.
I would love him to come here but He is SO good and has SO much potential it feels impossible. barely being mentioned too. If the lads went to see Klassen surely they know Dolberg would be a perfect summer signing in attack regardless of rom staying or going.
He just hasn't been good enough mate. Very laborious on the ball.
I said at the time when people were wetting the bed in regards to 'missing out' on Imbula (even though we weren't in for him) there was a reason Porto bit Stoke's hands off for that fee after paying more for him just six months previous.
A lot of talent and potential but poor application of it during games.
Maybe could be an option but he's not really what this Everton side needs IMO.

What I've been hearing is when he showed up he was Yaya Toure like in the way he bombed forward and wasn't afraid to take players on, but as time as wore on he's gradually declined and his application when it comes to defending has been wanting on many an occasion
No one at the Stoke end is saying he's rubbish or anything like, they're just saying he hasn't kicked on as they'd hoped and he would represent a gamble to whichever club he went to, especially if whomever his new manager is couldn't reign him in
As you say, he might just need a change of scenery, but to me Loftus-Cheek has always looked good whenever he's had a chance to play for Chelsea and he seems like more of a sure thing, so I'd rather we looked at him in all honesty. He'd cost more than 10 Million, but I think his upside is greater
Who knows, Koeman could be the sort of manager Imbula needs to get him back on the straight and narrow, but there's certainly risk involved, and most likely less if we went in for Reuben
Loved him at Marseille under Bielsa.
