That is why the deals need to be done quickly. Surely even we cant drag out a transfer when there is a release clause and its only €6mill. That is pennies in todays market, worth taking a gamble on.
The problem won't be us but the player, do you think the player or even agent will be jumping at the first offer put in front of them?

Don't forget Bill pays the wages out of his own pocket , so if he can delay the deal by 3 months he saves 3 months early
Sell early buy late is Bills motto

Nice have got a few decent players. The lad Dalbert looked a player! Eysseric aswell who I think we've been linked to in the past, in January in fact. Doesn't his deal run out in the summer?...

Not sure but yeh got a few players I like. Cyprien and Plea are unfortunately injured. Both full-backs are good (although one is on loan) and always impressed by Baysse in defence.

Why we aren't considering Ben Mee, is beyond me, would probably go for a lot cheaper than Keane and from the Burnley matches I've watched and against us he's looked far more competent and solid than Keane has. I rate Keane also and will be happy if we sign him but Mee would be the better choice in my opinion, I'm no professional scout like but seems a no brainer, he's only 3 years older than Keane too so still a good 4 or 5 top seasons in him. Well the one thing we suck at is the one thing Keane excels in: aerial duels.

Excellent call, we struggle with set pieces into the box as really only Funes Mori has a good head on him, bringing in Keane is a jump in the correct direction.

Although the guys from AC Milan seems a great centre back but was subject to a 40 million bid last summer I believe, so 25 million plus Dellboy might do the trick there.

Like to see both Walsh and koeman together apparently the relationship is far from a strained one as some reported it was late last year.
I think it probably was strained at some point mate and that's inevitable really. Walsh was brought in to be in charge of recruitment and Koeman will obviously have his own ideas on players. They've both publically stated that they have to agree on who is brought in so it's impossible that they'll always be singing from the same hymn sheet.

I can imagine tempers flying at times but as I say I think that's unavoidable in this type of situation.

Our back-line is so short it makes me cry a little every time the opposition get a set piece. Lukaku, Barkley, Holgate and Schneiderlin are the only tall players. I know height isn't everything but I want both my CB's to be 6'2" at least. We saw on Saturday how beneficial it is being good in the air when Swansea never looked troubled due to Mawson. If the roles were reversed and they peppered us with crosses we would definitely concede.
