Summer Transfer Window 2017

Truth be told, I firmly believe a team full of Barcelona rejects would comfortably be top four in the PL. They would be title contenders actually. Any, or even all of them welcome here.

Sandro Ramirez.

I mean he's a good player who I'd have in the squad but he's probably not a first-choice starter for a PL team trying to break the top 4, despite his great season with Malaga. Quite pacy, great finisher and has a few good free kicks in him too.

If Koeman really did go to watch Ajax he could have been looking at any of their players. Assuming we only go for 1 of their players I would rather we went for Dolberg tbh. Klassen would still be a good signing mind.

Apparently Koeman wanted Davinson Sanchez before he went to Ajax but we couldn't get a work permit and they could so he could of been keeping an eye on him and he's impressed this season, so much so that the likes of Barca and Real Madrid have been watching him and are interested!

But they have an host of good players, Sanchez, Veltman, de Ligt, Schone, Klaassen, Ziyech, Younis & Dolberg...

He'll go to Newcastle because their selling point will be "come and look at our boss massive stadium lad"

Let us rejoice ...........

Mr Mosh has risen 6 places in the Sunday Times Rich List to No 69 (oh err, missus) with an estimated fortune of £1.85bn up over the last 12 months by £450m ... which co-incidentally is a very healthy transfer budget.

Over to you Mr Mosh

Like your thinking pal! ;):D

For just over £5m it's a no lose situation imo. If he contributes and does well then he's a bargain, if he struggles we would get our money back for him from a Spanish club no problem.

Koeman will no doubt be weary of him though and will want to watch him and have him scouted as much as poss as when he was at Southampton he signed Juanmi from Malaga I think off the back of a good season and he flopped massively, made one prem start and an handful of sub appearances and Koeman got rid as soon as so that will be in the back of his mind no doubt....

@BlueToff mentioned yesterday he was talking with a journo who works closely with Ajax and they didn't want to sell any of the squad etc - with the possible exception of Klassen - and for them to consider Dolberg etc would take a 40m type of offer - how realistic or informed that guy actually is though (the one he spoke to) i have no idea.

The only comments i have seen recently is the agent denying any contact whatsoever from Italian clubs (note he specifically was answering rumours about Milan i believe) but telling he didn't say 'any club' and markedly stated Italian specifically. and the player himself saying he wasn't ready for the likes of United and City yet as he need more experience and to be playing regularly for his next level of development.

So i am guesisng they know there is interest and they are trying to see what teams will make contact before deciding themselves.

He's a huge fan and does know his stuff/has a few connections, but whether his info is 100% reliable...

He wasn't really claiming anything groundbreaking. Just saying the noises were coming from Ajax that they would only let the lad go for a huge fee.

Think a lot depends on what happens with Rom and when it does, as to what our targets will be. Who knows atm whether are targets are built around providing service/support to Rom, or that we're aiming to replace him outright?
