Cleverley is already gone. The deal is done for 8mil.

Niasse will be sold to Hull if they stay up. It was part of the deal. 10mil.

McGeady will stay at Preston. Probably on another loan or for a nominal fee.

Lennon will be moved on. Probs 3-4mil.

Kone will be shipped off asap.

McCarthy will go if we get a good offer and if we've got other midfield options lined up.

Valencia can't be sold - he's on loan. I doubt he'll be bought, but may stay if we get another loan deal sorted.

Jagielka is an iffy one. Think he'll stay with the Europa league factor, and Funes will be the one moved on if we bring 2 CBs in.

What I mean BT is that combined with the last window that's an awful lot of players out. Barry Deulofeu to potentially add to that list. Given Bolasie and Colemans injuries we will have a tiny squad next season. So whilst I'm glad there's talk of 50 mill bids for CBs we need a squad with enough bodies for 4 comps. I always prefer quality over quantity but we're looking at a lot of incomings needed unless we supplement a few star names with the kids.

I saw an article linking us with Reid of West Ham? I would like a commanding centre half, someone who will boss the team, and a couple of goalscoring midfielders. Tell Ron, he's going nowhee next season and bring more of the U23 side through!
Good centre back, injured quite regularly though!

I'd say 6-7 signings are required, assuming the ones mentioned are leaving.

But those 6-7 signings must be players ready to be first team regulars.

Barry signed a new deal only a couple of months ago. He's going nowhere

Deulofeu will probably leave, and you could potentially add Mirallas and maybe even Besic to the list, depending on who Koeman thinks we need in the summer

I think we will deffo be seeing the back of - Jags, McCarthy, Barry, Valencia, Kone (obviously), Niasse, McAleny, Deulofeu, one of Stek or Robles, McGeady and Lennon.

That's not even taking into account the uncertainty over Lukaku,Mirallas and Barkley.

That's possibly 14 players going out - we say it every summer, but it's an absolutely huge summer ahead of player recruitment needed.

Koeman has started to leave Barry out of games, even when Schneiderlin hasn't played. He may be around it I hardly think he'll be starting many games. I'd prefer Koeman to keep Besic who could cover across all midfield positions. We need competition for Barkley and Davies as well. As good as he is, we shouldn't be expecting an 18 year old to play every game at the top level. We also need an answer to that problematic right wing position. Koeman clearly doesn't rate Mirallas Valebcia or DCL highly enough to make them the default starter.

I'm glad Koeman is here because he'll be making choices without sentiment. We need to sweep the decks, a lot of these players have failed so many times yet we seem to quite like them still. We need a whole sea change and hopefully Koeman is ruthless in shipping these failures out and bringing in players who actually go into big games, cup games, heck, even away games, looking to win rather than just get the loss over with as quickly as possible.

Think jamo will be leaving before besic myself

RK is on record as saying he prefers to work with a squad of 17/18 players and supplement them with younger players.
He said it's easier to keep them happy.
Problem is a couple of long term injuries like Coleman , Bolassie , Bescic and McCarthy and you are down to the bare bones.

Don't think either of Stek or Robles will leave, and there's like no chance Barry is leaving.

The rest I agree with, mind you I'd sign valencia as a squad player ahead of europe and could maybe even see us keeping jags if the player was ok with a smaller role

I think Robles will go, he's mid 20's and probably good enough to be No 1 at a lower mid table prem team. He won't, and shouldn't be content with sitting on the bench.

I can't see Jags Williams Barry going anywhere.
Those that will bring in a fee that RK feels he can do without will go
In my opinion that's.
Cleverly 8m, Naisse , 12 m Geri 12m,McCarthy 20M,Mori 15m Lennon 5/6 Kone (out of contract )Robles 10m McGeady €1
McAleny ,Browning ,Rodriguez and a couple of other U23 should bring it up to 80 m or so.
If he can I'd say RKwill drastically overhaul the squad
