..I don't particularly have a view on Maguire but I understand from a very good source that his attitude is 100% commitment to his football and his football team. I appreciate that doesn't confirm he's good enough to move us on but there are no issues with the lad himself.

Eggs this should be a given for any pro footballer, he may be a 100% guy but i dont believe he will improve us, he is a old fashioned rough CB who likes to use his muscle but most strikers today are blessed with pace and good movement and i dont think he can deal with that. If he was playing against Jonathon Walters every week then yeah he would be decent.

Interesting when Walsh was interviewed he said he always tries and find out about a players character because ability alone isn't enough. I'm not saying he'll improve us, all I'm saying is apparently football matters to the lad.

And the fact that RK has said he has enough youngsters and wants to sign players in the 26-29 age bracket this summer has been totally ignored in this article

I wouldn't think that means we will only be buying players of that age group.

...I know what RK said but I wouldn't dismiss any links with younger players. If he wants the likes of Tielemans, Keane, Pickford and Henry I doubt he'll change his mind because they're not in that age bracket. I think he was saying he'd like a bit more experience in the squad.

Keane is 24 and Koeman already said he wanted him so I wouldn't rule him out. Also Davy klaaasen is 24 as well plus Schmeichel who is 30.

Yeah sadly players having both desire and talent these days is a rarity.

I took a dislike to McGuire after he conned the free kick that Snodgrass scored from but, after watching him since, and listening to an after match interview he gave, I like the cut of his jib and would take him without a second thought.
