We've signed a lot on young players recently. I think this is Koman's ideas for the squad. He stated the other week, he likes a small squad off 17 first team players. It seams that we use our under 23's as a genuine reserve team. This has likely gone to us winning the league at that level? Good young players who are able to play at thee top level, but willing to fight for a place rather than sit sulk and pick up a wages.

In my opinion, we are 7th by a mile in front of the teams below.

Signing squad players or players who would improve us a bit will solidify 7th and possibly get 5th or 6th if one or two teams have bad seasons

To get the top 4 we need 3 more star players.

Exactly right. For me you add quality. It will push the current squad on and those that are current first team become players to rotate or back up. We need to improve on what we have not add more of it.
