First 19 games of this season he played the full 90 16 times and missed a total of 41 minutes in the other 3 - each time when we where losing and he was subbed off.

Last 10 games hes played in since the AFCON and his rest after it, played the full 90 5 times, missed a total of 198 minutes in those games

Since Davies broke through into the team his importance has clearly diminished (as frankly has his form since and shortly before he went the AFCON)

No one in our squad can do what he does and it's just plain obvious to see. Won't be going anywhere.

  • Unless we can get a quality, young left-back that is better than Galloway I think we can leave Baines' replacement until next year. I still have faith in Galloway, maybe not so much in Garbutt.
  • Kenny - would like to see him get some game time no that it is very unlikely we can catch 6th place.
  • Holgate - would like to see him being used at CB and RB in Europa.
  • Pennington - no harm to the lad, but I think he needs a season or 2 on loan to prove himself.
  • Browning - not impressing at PNE by all accounts. Maybe another loan to a championship club
  • Dowell - would have thought he would have got a chance this season. Surely he deserves a run out in the next few games
  • Sambou - seems to be impressing from reports. Surely worth a place on the bench ahead of Kone!?
  • Walsh - difficult to get into our midfield at present. Maybe Europa/League Cup next year?
  • Williams - see above
  • Baningime - Unsy was praising him - this normally happens before first team exposure?

I honestly hope to see all of them involved a lot next season. Could save us a fortune.
