Player Valuation: £80m
There have been a lot of very worthy contributions to this thread and, significantly, it has diplomatically avoided any reference to that very controversial banner somebody hung up welcoming Geri home
Didnt we, along with literally every other premier league club, just get a TV contract i think last year that increased everything by around 35-40mil? And then in two summers it actually fn doubles?not really imo. I expect EBITDA (to May 2015) of around 22 mio. Amortisation(depreciation) of assets (players) of around 19 mio leaves an EBIT of 3 mio. But given the 19 mio amortisation is non cash item, I suspect RM will get 75% of it...or about 15 mio to spend (in the absence of player sales)
As a matter of fact, McCarthy rumours swirled large today (ie in a swap deal with Spurs). I think you are not far from the mark with your prediction that this is not the last occasion McCarthy will be associated with a move to Spurs. Same with Mirallas, Barkley, Lukaku, Deulofeu , Stones, and Coleman. Spurs's will be linked to all our good players...and Chelsea's, Utd's City's etc etc.I remember reading on here that McCarthy's agent went bankrupt - if that's right then expect stories about him all summer as a move or improved contract at Everton will mean a big payday.
yes we did...and that lifted revenue to 120 mio. We have operating costs of about 95 mio, and amortisation 'cost' of about 20 mio...hence EBIT of around 5 mio.Didnt we, along with literally every other premier league club, just get a TV contract i think last year that increased everything by around 35-40mil? And then in two summers it actually fn doubles?

What a deal Swansea got there aswellBen Davies
On 23 July 2014, Davies joined Tottenham Hotspur on a five-year deal for an undisclosed fee. He joined on the same day as his Swansea teammate Michel Vorm, Gylfi Sigurðsson being exchanged as part of the deal.
Kind of.
