It's been mentioned that there will be a few to leave Finch Farm in the summer and despite the fact we are skint, it is of my opinion that heads must roll before the beginning of next season.

Osman
Anichebe
Billy (if things don't improve on short term considering price tag. This is his chance IMO)

There 3 on the top of out's list for the summer. I'm sure others might hugely disagree but this is just my opinion like.

Osman and Anichebe have recently signed new contracts so they won't be going will they and has for Bilyledinov he just needs more games under his belt.

Didn't one J Lescott sign a new deal before jumping ship to Citeh though?

I reckon we could find better quality players on less wages then what the above mentioned.

Osman is an Everton boy and I respect that, but in my opinion offers nothing more then a squad player.

I can see Anichebe going, Championship team most likely. Probably Vaughan and the Yak as well considering the loans, probably along with a couple of academy players who never got a chance.

Can't see Ossie going really, he's a great squad player and puts in a decent shift whenever called upon. I could see Neville going into coaching, but only if we get a first team RB in.

Otherwise I see Johnny H, Bily as mentioned if he doesn't have a better 2nd half of the season and probably one of our bigger assets (Baines, Rodwell or Fellaini). I'd go with Fellaini as the team who comes looking won't have to pay over the ends as he's not english and you wouldn't have to pay for unrealised potential as is the case with Rodwell.
I can see someone paying between 20-25 mil for him and our board will be all over the deal as it means Moyes can get a decent kitty and they can pocket some/pay off debt.

felli deffo out, johnny, billy and mikel and jags all under the guise of we need to shake it up after a bad season.while the banks rub there hands and we look on as the clock ticks down on tranfer day wondering whos next

On the basis of the performances this season we do need a shake up. Some of our "star" players don't give a toss anymore, they know they will play regardless of form and it shows. Drop a few of them and see how well they do when they come back in to the team and if they are still not performing move them on. Yesterday was a disgrace.

i have siad since the beginning of the season some of them are gutless and as the weeks go by im sadly being proved right.end of season there will be changes as the better players will want out, and i can see the ginger fella getting off to celtic or somewere were he will at least have a fighting chance of doing more than just standing still or going backwards, i cant see how we can procress if things stay the same

Which of our better players though? As I see it now, the only two people who I would regret losing this summer is Felli and Baines, as they are the only ones who have contributed on a consistent level. I would add Distin here as well but the problem is we are shipping mad amounts of goals and have tried little else.

At the moment all but the above mentioned trio are underperforming, at least that is what I feel, and sadly Moyes does nothing to change it up. Two years ago we were complaining that we had one of the smallest squads in the league, we then sell Lescott and get 3 players in which kind of solves that problem.
Now, our wages are to expensive so we have to ship 3 players in the january window, and Yobo before that, just to stay afloat? We have younger players who could rotate in, players who have been on the brink of the first team for a couple of years but we still do not switch it around. Even with massive under-performances.

Bleh.

Most people can see the potential Bily has, just because Moyes doesnt play him doesnt mean he shouldnt be sold. Besides, whats the point in selling him when we would get no where near £9 million

Heitinga has lost it, although I thought Distin and Baines keep losing people at the far post and conceding soft goals.

Bily, I mean I see the potential but yesterday he was terrible, apart from a couple of good passes he just missed tackle after tackle and his movement off the ball had a lot to be desired. Moyes IS playing him and one ok game out a a fair few doesn't really fill me with confidence that the lad will strole on next week and be quicker, better off the ball and can actually tackle. He has serious flaws, one being taking four touches before he looks up, unless he plays it first time.

Don't even get me started on Anichebe although I don't think he was as bad as people are making out, he did try and put himself about as he showed playing out wide last season.

That is the least we can expect from a player getting 30,000 a week. Anyone here on these boards would try to put themselves about.

There were many yesterday that didn't. That's my point. At least he looked like he was trying, for 20mins maybe before he got frustrated, overtired, whatever you call it for why his dummy got spit out his pram. Flippin' child
