….it would be some admission of failure by Thelwell if he brought in a striker after spending £50m on Beto, Chermiti and Maupay. Let’s not forget, Maupay could be back here next season.

He would be responsible for even more failure if he sticks with them.

I’d be happy to see both Beto and Chermiti to go out on loan next season. Chermiti to get some minutes behind him, and to showcase Beto playing for someone else in the hope that another team will be willing to buy him this time next year.

We desperately need pace and guile. How can Palace sign that Eze and Olise but we can't sign tricky players?
Both from the Championship as well.

Olise was an absolute no-brainer of a signing. He had an £8m release clause with Reading and had proved himself at Championship level in 19/20 and 20/21... Left-footed right winger, we should have snapped him up.
