So it's being reported on twitter and United forums. I was wondering why Evra was cracking up in that game today.

What a nasty ****. Although I'd love for a player to just stick two fingers up and show a 'and what?' attitude and calmly report it to the referee one of these days. That's the only way to beat racism. Players throwing strops and stuff does nothing except get the reaction they wanted, especially when it's a crowd that's doing it. I hope that's not coming across as me saying it should be taken lightly, I just think there's more effective ways of dealing with it. Years ago I saw an old asian woman walking on the high street in my village actually, and a coupla lads across the street from us started making deliberatly not very quiet 'asian accent noises' (if you get what I mean) at her and she just smiled at them and walked on. I just though 'YYYYEEESSSS' to myself. Was quality.

He should be prosecuted the same as if it was said in the st. if true, the FA should hand it over to the police in an unprecedented move, otherwise the anti racism campaign may as well end now. If one of us was to shout it from the stands then we would face a lengthy if not life ban, like the fella that called Saha 'French'
 
This has got to be taken seriously. If he's innocent then fair do's but there must be an investigation from the FA at the very least. Remember the furore over Ron Atkinson's comments regarding Desailly, and how he was (quite rightyl) huckled out of his job?

In this day and age, to abuse someone over the colour of their skin is ****ing despicable.

If an everton player was found to have called a black opponent n****r, I'd want him sacked immediately.

Remember Emre was charged with racially abusing Howard, Yobo and Lescott. If it was good enough for a Geordie player, it's good enough for this little tvvat.
