Where you one of the hundreds of fans caught up in the stub hub fiasco at the Everton v Stoke game I was in a queue for 1 1/2 hrs. and hundred of fan where behind me.

I missed 20 minutes of the first half waiting in an ever growing line of supporters. some fans would have missed most of the first half.
Ask a senior policeman patrolling the line of fans if the game would be delayed he response was theirs only 300-400 of you so no!!!

Stub hubs response was £10 for future purchases I complained again and currently its £20
what a joke ticket face vale £20 and £5 which was a child's ticket sold as an adult
cost to me over £100,
any one who experiences this on Saturday I urge you to complain to stub hub.
appalling service.

First I've heard, though StubHub don't provide the staffing/infrastructure at venues - it's just a platform for ticket exchange.

Suspect the box offices were manic given time of year/holidays prompted a lot higher than usual ticket exchange through Stub Hub, plus season ticket issues (not working, not arriving etc).

I walked passed the queue at around 2:55pm and it looked a bit mad.

Everton did tweet the day before suggesting people arrived very early to collect tickets.
Can't see the major issue, if you'd arrived at 12 o'clock, collected your tickets then gone for a pint there'd have been no problem. As for delaying kick off for a couple of hundred people, as if. And lastly, you chose to pay over the odds for your tickets, nobody forced you.

The box office on Bullens Road is nothing to do with Stubhub. It's operated by Everton. From what I was told the abnormal queues were because of ST issues .

Try and make a complaint and demand a refund, it might work and you've got nothing to lose. There was one guy on twitter who got a ticket in the upper bullens, only to find out the seat didn't exist and they moved him to the lower gwladys! Amateurs!

I walked down bullens road at about 2pm and heard one fan talking to a bizzie ' hey lad when does this close I'm gonna get a bevvy'. Wonder if he made it for kickoff lol

That is a terrible story.

I don't understand thus Stubhub thing.

As far as I know selling tickets for football matches above face value is illegal in this country.

How come fellows might have to pay £100 for a £25 ticket?

The value's academic mate, it's illegal to resell football tickets unless the resale is authorised by the organiser of the match.
So, because the club have authorised Stubhub to resell the tickets, it's perfectly legal.

As far as the OP goes, it sounds like the club's more at fault for the queues than Stubhub are. We must ( surely ?) have known how many Stubhub tickets ( and any normal tickets ) were due to be picked up, so should have been able to staff up accordingly.

Cheers, Woolly.

its everton who print the tickets out,it was farcical on Monday when they couldn't even handle about 100 people turning up for split/Chelsea tickets,it took about 90 mins to get served!

I've never bought tickets from stub hub as I've always been confused how it works! If I bought someone's season ticket seat for a match do they send it to me in the post and then I return it?
