Stubhub

Has anyone enquired about legality of Stub Hub? I rang the club and asked them how they could consent to being part of a ticket tout site. I asked this question because I have been approached by stewards and police when I have been trying to either give away or sell my sons adult seat for £20 outside the Park End when he cant get home for a match ( he is is the army ). I have spoke to someone at the Football Supporters Federation and they said I should start up an investigation.
Now I think it is a good idea to sell unused season tickets but not at an inflated price, I suggested that Stub Hub should have a programme on the site that doesn't allow people to post up an inflated priced ticket.
Does anyone have any suggestions or am I flogging a dead horse.

I was pulled up at Birmingham, my daughter couldn't go and my lad was ill so I had a kids ticket, there was a cash turnstile and I was gonna give it to a fella that had a 'young' kid with him, coppers were instantly on me and said that if I sold it to him or gave it to him then we would be arrested, he told us that as ridiculous as it was he would be left with no option as we were on all the cctv. He paid about £15/£20 for the lad who was about 6/7.

Ticket for the Sunderland game lower Glwadys £25, Same for the Norwich,Arsenal and Spurs games you can get main stand and lower glwadys for £25-£28

Are they not cheaper than buying direct from the club? Take away the Derby and the prices are fine

This is why you'll never make moderator.

Although I appreciate the enthusiasm (despite the BEING THE REF! rule break). This is the members first post mate - Make a comment on the thread, engage then direct to other existing posts.

It takes a lot of mental strength for new members to start a new thread - it's took this poor lad since August and you went and shot him down. MONSTER.

When do I become Mod Mr bossman sir?

Clearly the record of 'infractions' would be looked at before any modship, and if the person has ever morphed into you know who to leave bad rep.
*Waits, ready to 'Glass' him when he does the inevitable
*"Swing in" check around *"Swing Out"

I can't understand this Stubhub arrangement. Stubhub approached me with a view to a commission based advertising system on here. If I'd agreed I'd have essentially have been a tout - exploiting Blues. No thanks.

Why couldn't the Club have implemented the same system? £££ and someone has to lose out somewhere. Shame it's the fans, time after time.

I agree that it is a good idea as long as people cant rip others off with extortionate prices, like the Derby match or cup games. Its just that I thought it was illegal to resell tickets due to saftey reasons. I bet most of the seats sold for the Derby are bought by out of town RS you will be shouted down and could cause trouble. Its not like the old days when we stood on the K** ( cant write the word ) and they stood on the Gwladys. Sad but true.
