Stubbs has been great this year. Solid and still dominant in the air. With Lescott & Yobo in support plays his role to perfection. Excellent News.(y)
 
He will keep getting one year deals till he gets the player/defensive coach role. All hail Sir Stubbs
 
With Yobo probably away for a while with the African Nations it's good to have an experienced backup in Stubbs. Hopefully we'll bring in one more centre back for when Stubbs hangs up his boots.
 

Had to happen - specially after his display at Anfield, which was the best performance all season by any defender.
