Jol imo was unfairly sacked
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy last night revealed Martin Jol was fired because he feared the club were heading for a flirt with relegation.
But he claimed Jol had lost the confidence of the dressing room, saying: "When you are running a club of this size with our cost base, you can't afford to take the risk that you may end up in a very, very bad situation.
I think it's a case where the chairman thinks his club is actually bigger than it is..also bare in mind too they change their team nearly every season..I thought Jol was a superb manager and had he been given more time and didnt have such a [Poor language removed] of a chairman and director of football there is no doubt his tottenham would have been in the top 4 and constantly challenging for it..the board at the spuds are laughable at best..to be pitied at worst lmao
