You can attract alot of players with £££ but since Brands came in its obvious we are going for a more cost cutting 'living within our means' strategy which is the exact opposite of what City and Chelsea did before becoming CL regulars.

Quite frankly there is no ambition from the club to offer players 200k+ a week with £60 million+ moves unless Usmanov comes in imo.

It would be madness to do so right now too. It's a big step and it needs timing right.

That exact midfield 2 got torn to shreds by Declan Rice and Mark Noble. Not a chance I'd play that mate.

Its either Sigurdsson is dropped (wont be and we need him to play till jan to sell him) or we play Davies or nonentity schneiderlin.
