Striker Wanted

Benteke's next move will be a big one. I doubt Everton will be involved in the bidding.

I'd have any of those mentioned though, and throw in Berbatov.

Would like remy but he's a money grabber who chose a relegation battle for cash who will end up at spurs or the ****e if suarez goes hes on big wages more than what we would pay
I think he'd rather be playing in the premier league than the championship, and we'd be able to offer that and the prospect of European Football next season. Worth a punt.

Wouldn't get much for him now, rather hang on to him and see if he can rediscover last year's form.

I read Kiessling might be available for a reasonable price, he'd be a decent shout. Finnbogason or Eder maybe, although Finnbogason might already be out of our price range. I would also take a punt on Philipp Hosiner if he could be got for <£2m.

I think the opposite we sell now we could get about 6 mil from some mid table side who think he could turn his form around but if we keep him for another year and he still bombs we have no chance of flogging him

Hes quality mate other teams with bigger wallets will be sniffing spurs and arsenal probably wouldn't rule the RS out either brendan loves the small pacey forward players

think you've been hitting the post match beers their mate, not a chance on hell he would fetch 25 million

You must be punch drunk then mate. Have you seen his goals to games ratio? They would not sell him. He's got lots of goals in him and would easily fetch £25m

Don't know mate. What is realistic for us ? We haven't a penny.

We haven't money to spend on someone from the Championship would looks good but ends up a dud.

We haven't the money to buy from the Prem.

We'll see in the summer.

Guess im saying assuming that some combination of felli leaving tv cash (fat chance of that) gives us a pot of around 20-25 mill, bearing in mind felli then needs to be replace with most likely fer or someone of that ilk for like 8, so yeah strikers pot is around 10-15 i guess

Remy with his 8 Million release clause then Bill.

Dont get mistaken into thinking that other clubs dont facotr in the players value to the teams hes at though mate, a super- sub type player by his nature gets devalued, lots of those goals are in games already won and are just the icing on the cake vs teams in the pan already.

Is he gonna cost a bit, deffinately yes, but 25 million not a chance in hell of it being close to that much, more like 10-12

I think given the options I would like, Lukaku,

He's like Anichebe, with more confidence and better finishing.

Plus he is Belgian, so will fit in with mirralas and Fellini

The Hernandez shout i like but he's not a player who starts for me, Be that United or anywhere.

He's found out too quick and lets be honest, he's not great technically.

He's a super sub, nothing more, nothing less.

we have a first XI comparable to just about anyone in this division, our problem is players coming off the bench to kill games off against tired opposition, hernandez would be perfect for that, sadly we don't quite have the resources to take the risk on him (not that he's available to us anyway). We need a more complete all round striker probably, if not, a pacey one like remy would be good.

anyway, first option with the felli money would be his replacement - we can't blow it all on a striker, we'd be stuck with gibson and osman in centre mid all season. fer would be perfect for us from what i've seen, our own yaya toure, we need a box-to-box dembele like player for sure.
