The sad thing is with the team we've got if we had a pair of decent strikers to bang them in we'd be walking 3rd place right now.

Unfortunately those cost actual money which is something we haven't got.

Remy, Bony and Benteke all seem realistic targets for me.

Negredo is a bit overpriced, but none of the less still a player than get us goals every week.

Couldn't afford Remy, Benteke would be an interesting buy, he's what Anichebe should be, but can't see Villa asking any less than £8m for him as he's very young. Macheda and Lukaku no chance.

A lot more likely of being able to afford Remy than Benteke.

No chance of getting him for close to that. £15 million would be more realistic but I doubt they'd take that either.

Good to see another estimate. He's good but he isn't worth that much IMO.

I heard somewhere, and wouldn't be surprised if it's true, that he's getting something like £80k p/w, which is what I meant by that. Completely prices us out in any case.

The Hernandez shout i like but he's not a player who starts for me, Be that United or anywhere.

He's found out too quick and lets be honest, he's not great technically.

He's a super sub, nothing more, nothing less.

If Villa go down I really doubt there will be a £20m price tag on him, Remy has a release clause of £6m. (If QPR go down)
