I feel bad for the guy. As soon as he was having some momentum and the spotlight was on him. Jelavic came and conquered. Personally, I would like to keep him. Anyone else care for him anymore? or another useless loan by Moyes?

Certainly not a useless loan, it felt like he kick started our season with some effort up front.

However, in the words of Goat he's badly, BADLY Adam and we should not be looking to keep the lump.

Was a total punt by moyes. The only option left last summer to get another striker on the books.

Hes served a purpose. The few games he played just before jelavic took over the world were great by the lad. Not technically but he worked his ass off the team when we needed him too.

I expect only 2 out of straq vic and vellios will remain next year and well see a new squad striker come in but straq will leave with a big good luck from me.

Someone is bound to pick him up, he put in a decent shift for us. Wherever he goes, I hope he succeeds.

He may not fit the super star south american striker we all crave...

But i for one,, love the guy,, the lads a tryer..

Erm.

Yes!

I love the lad too, that doesn't mean you should be investing money into him, we're not exactly stacked with cash!

He worked his nuts off when we needed him to so I feel bad for him as well. But he seems like the sort of player who needs to get plenty of game time to score goals and since Jelavic signed he was only ever going to be a sub.

I'd rather Vellios was on the bench to be honest

You could even call this a... STRAQUATION?!!!! Lolololololololol

I'd love to keep him btw.

Anyone who thinks Denis is a bad player is just ignorant.

He aint a pretty player by any means but he has his strong points. I think his aerial ability is excellent, he doesnt just get his head on to a ball he places his headers. He is also a better passer than many give him credit for and I actually reckon he has an intelligent footballing brain. He just looks a bit weird.

For the right price (ie not much at all) I would keep him. He gives us other options. Tigre may get relegated this season so that will probably mean is being able to negotiate a decent fee.

We're broke, would you rather Straq, or use Straq's wages on Pienaar instead for example?
