Stoke Parking

Good Evening,

Is there any car parking near to the Britannia for Wed's game? Any advice much appreciated.

Cheers,

Nick

I normally park between the town centre and the stadium and walk up.
It can be a bitch of a place to get away from so a 20 minute walk is no hardship.

Drive 500 meters beyond the Britannia, left at the roundabout, and then

Lots of large car parks south of the ground off Sir Stanley Matthews Way.

After the game, continue south, turn right onto A5035, right onto Stone Road and left at A500. Brings you back to M6 junction.

But have a look at the map first. And take a warm coat too!

Staffordshire Police are advising fans planning to attend Stoke City's home match against Everton tomorrow night to plan their route beforehand. The force anticipates traffic delays - and suggests supporters give themselves plenty of time to reach the Britannia Stadium ahead of kick off at 7.45pm.

Any vehicle found parking on grass verges on the A500, A50 or in the areas around the stadium will be towed away at the owner's expense.
Drivers wishing to park on any of the Stoke City FC car parks must pre-book their space beforehand.

After the match no traffic will be allowed to use Stanley Matthews Way between the ‘Audi Island’ and the ‘Harvester Island’ for a short period whilst pedestrians clear the area.

Vehicles parked in the clubs North and West Car Parks will not be allowed to move out of the car parks until it’s safe to open the roads after the pedestrians have cleared the roads.

ALL traffic leaving the South Car Park and all parking areas south of the Audi garage must travel towards Newstead and Trentham.

Loads of parking at the ground, but takes forever to get out and there's nothing to do. Asked a Stoke fan I know about somewhere better for getting out, and he's recommended me a road called Duke Street, about 15-20 minute walk from the ground, has a car park there and plenty of free street parking so Im gonna try there. I dont mind a bit of a walk if its quicker getting away after.
