Huth's going to get you

Player Valuation: £50k
There was no stoke thread what i could see so i thought i would start a new thread a lot of you may remember me coming on before our last meeting and was very humble in defeat and had nothing but praise for you as a club and seen as i was 'welcome' to post i thought i would post the views of the stokies for our game.

Playing at the brit used to be a very difficult challenge for any away team, and it still is now, but the whole 'fortress' myth is been destroyed the problem with stoke over the last few games is consistency, whilst we beat Blackburn, Liverpool and drew with Man City we drew against Wigan and lost at home to Fulham and Blackpool. With Stoke you never know what team will turn up we very sloppy against Fulham on tuesday and if Moyes sets you out to attack us straight from the off i fear the worst.

Today we have confirmed the signing of Jermaine Pennant after a hugely succesful loan spell so that will be a big boost for us with him and Matthew Etherington being our main threat they will cross balls into the box all day hoping Jones will get his head to them but with your big defenders i reckon you will be able to handle him. Stokes front two are struggling for goals at the moment and i see Saturday being a very close counter with the results going anyway and after our disallowed goal at your place we deserve a bit of luck.

whats the situation with Everton guys?
a few wins and you will be flying (just hopefully not saturday):)(y)

Hi again mate. I can see another draw for us. I'll be going to the game. I think your a bit like us at the minute, hit & miss. Like us your struggling for goals aswell eh? Well i suppose this one will be a 4-3 thriller haha.

Always a tough game at your place, i reckon your just going through of those phases a club were you struggle. You'l still be fine i think and can still see you finishing top 12 maybe top 10

We'll come out in a 4-6-0, give up the usual garbage goal, and score one in stoppage time to draw in the least exiting game ever.
Welcome back.

Alright mate, we'll be looking to win the game by the odd goal as usual. Unfortunately for you, you get the last game of Cahill's before he's off. He normally pops up with one against Stoke, so I can see you having to score twice to win the game.

You must be quite happy with the style of football you're playing with two proper wide players, bit of a throwback especially with the big man up front.

Enjoy the game mate if its as tight and as scrappy as im expecting im sure it will be one you will forget. Any queries about Pubs/Train Station etc don't heistate to ask:)
And both clubs seem to be hit and miss but a couple of wins for either and you shoot up the table
I would defiantly put the money on a 4-3 game for sure
we seem to be playing better away from home at the moment but with pennant here to stay that will be a big boost for the crowd so hopefully a big boost to the players
I still see Everton getting a top half spot at least. Aston Villa seem to be woeful at the moment you just seem to be struggling for goals a couple of wins and you will be right up there hopefully it doesnt start on saturday though.

i can see both teams keeping it tight and cancelling each other out hoping for the one goal to win the game
And yes Cahill always seems to score against us... normally from the head too:P
the football we play is much better than we've seen in the past them two really add a extra dimension to our game balls coming in from everywhere and when Jones is in the mood there isnt many who can outleap him....getting him in the mood is a problem though:L:L
any doubts for the game on your side? we've got a fully fit squad as far as i know.

Will the Forwards show up?
What team will Moyes pick?
Can Arteta be arsed?

I can go on and on tbh.

We had Hibbert playing at CB against West 'am but hopefully one of Jagielka and Heitinga will be back for this one. If Hibbo plays in the middle again we'll get spanked. Other than that, no big injuries, but our strikers are all apparently [Poor language removed].

Heart says ; 1 point .

Moaning / Bitching / Anti Moyes Deluded Mufukas say ; 0 points .

Welcome , lad .

Hope Jagielka misses this one , rate him very highly. our gain for sure
our strikers seem to be like yours they don't seem to be turning up for games don't think any of our guys have scored this month we are reliant on Huth headers or free kicks at the minute.
The key for this game is how both teams start Stoke have been very poor starters this season (been ahead just once at half time) were giving teams too much space and making it hard for ourselves so if your set you off and push us back we will be in trouble. The first goal (if there is one) will be vital

The Police at Stoke meet us at the station and tell us to head straight to the Staffordshire Uni SU, they strongly advise against going in to town, so that's what we'l probably end up doing mate. Thanks anyway though bud

that sounds about right.
i wouldn't go into town most Stoke fans are fine but you will get one or two prats
If you want a drink before the game the best bet is The Harvester it is right outside the ground full of Home and Away fans and Cops

Bombard Hibbert/Howard with long throws/hoofs and physicality or just ignore Heitinga as he'll be on his cell trying to get an apt in Munich (he thinks he's going there), get a lead and close up shop. We can't put 2 on anybody sitting 9-10 back.

1-1.
