If fellaini had not reacted and done what he done, all the talk would be about stoke's dirty tactics of holding him ridiculously at every opportunity.

Not defending him, although you can see why and how it happened... But I think stoke should get off there high horse.

(Shawcross) got what he was looking for. Or at least he got half of what he was looking for. He would have hoped the ref sent Fellaini off.

Exactly. Fellaini was foolish and unprofessional for letting his frustration result in what it did. With this is mind -- especially knowing it was Shawcross' intent before the game even started to get under Fellaini's skin -- how does the Everton coaching staff and the 4th refugee on the sideline fit into all of this? Were they not giving the 4th ref an ear full every time they saw Shawcross manhandling Fellaini during set pieces? Was it enough?

If Stoke fans are saying they want 12 match bans and "jail time" they ought to think about re naming The Brittania "Rykers Island." We got the fouling gits in the cup. I hope to god we rest Zaha.
