Good afternoon Everton fans, You are having a nice end of season run-in while it seems the wheels are coming off the wagon this end a bit what with the losses agains Bolton and Chelsea and now word of yet another punch up in the Stoke dressing room.

From a Stoke perspective I hope they can put all that behind them this weekend and get at least a point.

What were your expectations for the season, and what are they now?

started very high tbh then diminished within weeks of the season starting, thought we'd have got further in europe and cups regardless of the injuries, quite pleased with how we have got to where we are now and would love to finish above the r/s, will look back at missed opportunities and leads we couldn't hang on to when in control that woud've seen us 4th/5th rather than the injuries preventing us.

Who are your favourite past and present Everton players, and why?

i like the trevor stevens types with skill, so like pienaar and arteta. there are so many I love at the moment though, cahill, fellaini, heitinga all of them.


What are your thoughts on Stoke City as a football club, and in particular our manager, Tony Pulis?

doing it through graft and team spirit and not sitting in awe of the big money teams.

Are there any particular memories that stick out for you on your visit's to stoke city over the years.?

LOUD !!

What team are you likely to put out against us?

as strong as we can.

Any guesses on what you think the score will be?

win 2-1.

What were your expectations for the season, and what are they now?

Thought we'd be top 6 and maybe another cup run/win. Nobody would of coped with a similar injury crisis to what we have had but now our squad is back we are seeing more of a true Everton. Delighted with the second half of the season and cannot wait for pre-season and the beginning of next to see if we match our potential we currently have.

Who are your favourite past and present Everton players, and why?

I started watchin us in the 90s so my heroes were Big Dunc, Barry Horne, players like that, the 'dogs of war' side. Currently, Tets is by far and away our best players, but i am a big Heitinga fan, there is just something about him. He's gonna be a big-player for us next year. If we sell no-1 though, we are blessed, Pienaar, Tets, Heitinga, Cahill, Jags, Fellaini...mouth watering here.

What are your thoughts on Stoke City as a football club, and in particular our manager, Tony Pulis?

You've got a great football club down there. Passionate fans, decent ground (even if there are a lack of pubs and it's in the middle of nowhere) and a great history. You've got a stability there and your constantly building doing things the right way. Pulis i think has found a club what suits him. He is hated at Bournemouth, Gillingham and Bristol City for what he did there but in you, he has worked wonders. Annoys me when people criticise your 'direct' style. If long throws and the such get you 3 points, who cares? I actually think you play some really decent stuff. Your a much better footballing side than Bolton, Villa & Blackburn

Are there any particular memories that stick out for you on your visit's to stoke city over the years.?

As mentioned, loud. Went to the 3-2 last season, was very tense, but enjoyable.

What team are you likely to put out against us?

Our strongest side possible

Any guesses on what you think the score will be?

Hmmmm, we seem to be going for games lately, so there could be more than 3 goals in it. I'd say 2-1 again to us, but you are more than capable of hurting us and getting a win

What were your expectations for the season, and what are they now?

Very high, another 5th placed finish, maybe even 4th. Diminished greatly after the first month, genuine hope for next season now though, we have proven that with Arteta, Fellaini, Pienaar etc all on fire we can demolish any team.

Past - Duncan Ferguson, Neville Southall, Dave Watson, Daniel Amokachi, Kevin Campbell
Present - Leighton Baines, Phil Jagielka, John Heitinga, Steven Pienaar, Diniyar Bilyaletdinov

What are your thoughts on Stoke City as a football club, and in particular our manager, Tony Pulis?

Really like the guy, straight talker, takes no messing about, Stoke sides have been so consistent throughout these past 2 seasons, especially at home, very physical and tough side to beat.

Are there any particular memories that stick out for you on your visit's to stoke city over the years.?

Moyesie being sent to the stands before celebrating in front of the Stoke fans as we clinch the vital 3rd goal.

Any guesses on what you think the score will be?

Difficult, depends how you plan on bouncing back after the Chelsea game, i'll say 2-1 Everton.

What were your expectations for the season, and what are they now?

Well we went into the season knowing we were missing keys players, so always expected to struggle at first, tho perhaps not as much as we did. I guess i expected us to do about what we have, perhaps a bit higher, but less of a rollercoaster along the way.

Who are your favourite past and present Everton players, and why?

Lineker was my hero as a kid. Got his autograph the other week thru my bro, cos he takes his kids karting near where i live. Southall was a Legend, Big Dunc an Icon. Liked Limpar, as he came from my Dad's team. Absolutely loved Kanchelskis tho, best mate is a Utd fan and was so jealous of him and Giggs growing up. When we signed him!!

Nowadays, Arteta obviously, and Felli, for how he's come in, did pretty well lst year despite getting ****ged off from here to hell and back, then proving his worth this year.

Hmm, not really tbh, only really pay attention when you're playing us! Sorry

Never been

No idea. Prob usual 4-5-1, usual suspects, whoevers somewhere to being close to match fit out of Yak/Saha.

Think you guys will be on a major mission in this one, getting all up in our grills. We'll salvage another 2-2 draw late on.

Lad , been to Stoke a few times over the years . My abiding memory is young wooly back kick-offs by that arl canal by the Victoria . Also , remember HK playing for yous with Garth Crooks - HK was the Guv'nor - EVEN THEN - .

This is season #3 coming up . Are you happy to just be the throw-in , team , after next year ???
We , after all , were the Dogs of War . I wasn't a fan of the Title . I liked School of Science , much better .
