Piennar, if fit, could play the creative role. I've been thinking that with all of the young talent we have that an older head might be good to pull things together in a similar way that Cantona did at United. I'm not saying that Piennar is the answer but he could definitely do the job.
Just read this on TEF and have to say that there is merit in this, IMO.
Looks shouldn't come into it but what the hell, lets go for sexy footballers <thumbs up>We just need a younger, fitter, better version of Pienaar. Sorted.
he was never our best player when he was fit, i don't see why he'd be it now when he's slower and not as good.Sadly hes now injury prone. If only he was 100% fit each week and he would be our best player.

i think you're imagining a better player than he is / wasI think hes class. We could do with him now as he actually moves off the ball, and was brilliant at still wanting the ball even when under pressure and he'd always win us free kicks too ha

very good player but severe lack of end product effected him.
He's always been 'quite good' but never class for me.
Baines made him look better than he was too.
