He's an essential cog.
Truth is this isn't down to waiting for a spark to get going now. No one player can provide it. It's a collective malaise and has to be the team sharpening their act up and finding the levels of play we know is easily within their grasp.

Alardyce was getting plaudits earlier because he'd 'put his finger on what's wrong' by suggesting teams worked out we dawdle on the ball. But they capitalise on that because our energy levels and preparation time are badly affected by the two games per week we usually face.

That really cant be underestimated, and for my money that is the key to this downturn.

Martinez and the players have to find a way to adapt. They'll have to, because this cant go on. (I also think we need a huge boost of confidence and that can boost energy and focus).

We're not far away. Patience is required not panic.

Can't argue with that.

I think his movement in the final third is a big miss, most of Naisy's good work goes un-noticed, but it's definitely noticeable when he's not there! He unsettles defenders

Lukaku never looked as good when Naisy was playing behind him.

I'd like to see them paired back up with Rom now playing better.

Our problem was Naismith. I'm glad he got injured because it meant we could get Ross back in the team and now look at us. Back in the top 4 where we belong. I'm a bit worried that Martinez didn't see this sooner though, any clown could tell he was holding us back.

Tut tut tut tut tut

We've been hopeless all season, but him coming back after missing three games is part of the solution.

Not sure how that one works like.

It burns you yet again to see after your lobbying to get him out the team

We've been turbo gash

if he comes back and we're magnificent then someone's going to look a right berk. :coffee:

He's a magnificent player and we are poorer without him Dave. Fact.

lol ...just lol

The Randy Lerner moment was all yours. You didn't draw the right conclusions from that matter either.

Oh really. The attempts at rewriting history will not work dave. :coffee:

Lerner who you so admired has not only overseen a disasterous period of chairmanship. He's now overseeing selling the naming rights to the Holte end

You had your in the sand over Lerner and you have it over Naismith.

Infact its worse. Its outright denial. :coffee:
