"Looking back I would definitely have done some things differently," Naismith said.
Instead of saying something general like that he should pipe up and apologise specifically for saying what he, and he alone, said when jumping ship.

I'm not arsed, tbh. Certainly not arsed about that club, that's for sure. I'm merely pointing out that the motive for the series of interviews he's done was to pour oil on troubled waters up there for himself and his family's sake, but he's failed to say the words that would square the situation off for him with many people who still call him fit to burn.

Dear Dave.

Stop trying to smear our boss slotter Steven Naismith.

You know I'm on to you and will run rings around you quoting FFP and all sorts of tax and company laws and everything. Then quote you on how you always thought he was turbo gash.

The fact of the matter in the last 28 days the former owner, two directors and two administrators have been charged with fraud and offences under the Companies Act 2006.

So reality is maybe Naismith leaving was in the best interests of everyone.

He could of sued Rangers for not paying him what they were contractually obliged to. Remember that.

So save yourself some heart ache before I pipe you right down over Naismith.

Yours sincerely.

Bizzaro.

That's not the issue. You can go on about TUPEs and company law all night, it isn't the issue. The issue was that Naismith made a massive error in justifying why he left that club: he stated it didn''t exist anymore. No other former player who jumped ship is getting the stick he does because they just walked and found new clubs and kept it buttoned up.

If he wanted to put matters to rest he needed to find the words and specifically address that.

So you're saying he made a "massive error" in signing for Everton Football Club ? :dodgy:

Yeah Dave. Everyone believes you.

He made a mistake with the new club line at the press conference, Walter Smith stated the same thing and is still treated like a hero.

Naismith and Whittaker were the 2 that got most of the abuse because of that press conference they held to try and justify leaving!

Like he said, he made a mistake and in hindsight he would have done it differently! That's all it was though, a mistake! Not enough to justify the pure venom that gets spat at him by the red hand of ulster crew!

Those players had to leave rangers for the sake of their careers! The whole thing could have got really messy and still could, lots of stuff coming out now! Like he said the players did everything they could, including taking 75% wage cuts, due to crooks running the club, no fault of their own!

The rangers fans need to realise that it was the crooked owners/directors fault, not the players, the top players had no choice but to leave! The blinkered rangers fans though see it as disloyalty, absolute nonsense!
