Last week wasn't pretty with them side by side.

You have to go with Barkley.
Outside the penalty box I would agree with you mate...but inside....
Naismith scores such important goals for us (which win games).

In overall assessment, (and at the risk of presenting a non sequitur conclusion), I think I'd go with Barkley. I'm not sure whether RM agrees though!

Naismith will play on Sunday, the only question is where? He was brilliant tonight

The problem under Moyes was that he had no confidence, the manager didn't trust him! Martinez has given him loads of confidence, I would still like to see him be more confident on the ball though because he has quick feet and he can trick his way past defenders! I recall him jinking his way through a few Germany defenders for Scotland recently

Really struggling to figure out how to play with both him and Barkley in the same team at the same time. Too narrow if they play together since neither can really play out wide.

Disagree with 'we have to start Barkley ahead of him'. On current form Naismith deserves to start.

Ross is hit and miss, understandable given his age and injury lay off but it's important not to heap too much pressure on him. In time he'll flourish, Naismith shouldering some of the pressure for the time being in the long run will benefit all parties.

Yeah sound let's leave a £50 million+ potential player on the bench like a certain David moyes did that the same people arguing this slated him for doing.

The very same people will be ranting "JUDAZ DAT BERKLEY LAD IZ" on twitter if he f'ed off to city

Impossible to drop him on this form, outstanding again tonight. I said earlier in the season, Barkley would do well to observe Naismiths movement and desire to get beyond the lone striker.

Rotation.

Rom

Barkley Naismith

Besic McCarthy
Barry

We'd maybe be a bit narrow so would require Baines and Seamus to push on a lot. Barry would be important to sit deep and act as an extra CB when Baines and Coleman get forward. I thought the movement of Rom and Nais was excellent tonight and that would be important in this formation

We dont have to crush players in, just be happy we have this problem. Start the inform player and if things are not going our way sub him for the other, simple.

If ever you wanted to compare the management qualities of moyes and Martinez , then Naismith is the perfect example.

Don't wish to run moyes down, but it seems to me he was bought 'cause he was available for free, probably seen as a number to fill the squad, and never playing him to use his strengths .

Martinez challenged him to win a starting spot , played him where he's at his best and now reaps the reward.

Big player within the squad as opposed to being a fringe, gap filler player.

Probably the best finisher at the club, certainly top 3 along with eto'o and Mirallas

Sunday i would like to see:
_____luk/sam_____
