Sad thing is why can't the manager see what we see? Even had he anticipated swansea playing openly barkley scored against them twice last season and has a good partnership with Rom.

Theirs nothing worse than an everton player who is your typical underdog type player but does well. Naismiths literally guaranteed himself consistent praise/time with the fans and sadly manager due to his goals earlier this season.

People would literally rather we benched our £28 million striker or play our attacking midfielder out wide just to accomodate him. The same fans then pee their pants when man city are linked with a move for him in the papers "they couldn't afford ross" "ross won't go he wants to be a legend here" etc. Etc. Yet then are happy to see him played out of position.

Mind boggling

I put it down to Moyes' era attitude: a hard working player will be embraced beyond their limitations. He's been ok, dont get me wrong. But we have to get away from seeing a player like that as a starter. He jus isn't. And that's what's really screwed us up there today...Martinez playing to the gallery. He needs to be as bold as last season: no fear or favour.
