This is because they measure Naismith in - pitches covered.

Not by the yard.

He's platinum-grade Everton is Naismith.

I know he had a bad injury but he got a full pre season behind him and still hasn't impressed. Reminds me of when people used to defend Bily and say "he's tired" or "He hasn't played behind the striker" - the undefendable get defended. Madness.

His slotting is way above average mate. Not just the goals he has scored, but he is like ice when he has a chance. Well mostly. Had no idea he had that before he joined if I am honest.

Anyone seen that interview with joe Royle on the OS? Said he had had some lunch with Naismith and how big a blue he now is. Obviously he has been bitten by the bug playing for us. I'll hold my hands up and criticised the lads ability in the past, but I'm prepared to eat humble pie. Don't think I've ever seen a player work harder for the team. Unbelievable work rate for the cause. And under Martinez has come on leaps and bounds as a footballer.

Or Barkley and maybe Pienaar either side of Eto'o behind Lukaku.
