His first season he was awful, however there were mitigating circumstances, he was only just back from a career threatening injury, basically his knees were Donald Ducked!!Also Moyes elected to play him out wide, after that though I thought he was a really decent option for us, scored some important goals, always gave 100% which is the least us fans expect and made a great contribution to the area with his charity,I for one although gutted on the night applauded Naisy as did most of the crowd when he scored against us at Goodison for Norwich to knock us out of the League Cup:)
 

Very limited but great work ethic, good finisher and had a lot of footballing intelligence to compensate for his shin control.

Will always remember him fondly, overplayed and played out of position by both of his Everton managers so I can’t hold that against him.
 
He scored in Derbies and that hat trick was great.

He was horrendous to watch though, think he knew what he wanted to do intelligence wise. Just a complete lack of ability to carry it out most of the time. Probably as slow as Jelavic was as well.
