That all may be true mate, but the point of all this is that this guy is a DOF. Like, he actually knows what the job entails, unlike our glorified scout that we currently have in that position. He'd have to be an improvement on Walsh, mainly because Walsh has been utterly abysmal.

It would be interesting to know how many of the players we have signed have been Walsh's and how many have been down to the manager/ moshiri and Kenwright. I heard that Rooney was only really wanted by Kenwright. The plan from walsh and Koeman was to get Sigurdsson and Klassen to fight for the number 10 position, but Kenwright convinced Moshiri to get Rooney as well.

It sort of explains our situation with the "too many number 10's". In some ways you cant argue with the Rooney signing, he has been great, but we should have changed our plan and not signed Sigurdsson once we already had Rooney and Klassen.

Anyone new coming in may only add to the confusion, rather than helping to clarify things

Would be a welcome move to show Moshiri hasn’t just passed all the thinking power over to Walsh and Allardyce. Only a fool couldn’t have been shocked by spending that much money and regressing. Hopefully this is part of his root and branch survey of the club and we can finally get on an upward curve again.

The key difference is that those players would not be given the time to develop in the current Everton team. Its really difficult for young players to develop, let alone in a struggling side, were the fans are baying for the managers blood and the fans boo the team off at half time and full time.

The other thing is the standard of the league, I think some of our U23's would look amazing in the Dutch league, but they are still not ready for the premiership.

Why does the level of the Dutch league affect how he'd recruit for us?

RE: my boss Farhad has just informed me he will pay you £16m per year, regardless of performance and you’ll get a bonus every time you sign a player from last years top six

Because the young players he brings in might never get a chance in the first team, player like; Henen, Tarashaj, Tom Davies, Lookman, and others would all look great in the Dutch league, But they are either 4th choice for our team or nowhere near it. So they don't get a chance to prove what they can do
