The man is a complete waste of time and money (lots of it).
I still can't believe that he has presided over the omnishambles of the last nine months and is still being paid by the club.
As for the argument that a lot of this might not be his fault, then why do we have a Director of Football who can't direct football?
Get rid NOW.

People talk (rightly) about his transfer failings, but in the 18 months since Walsh arrived the club not managed to create any structure whatsoever in terms of a playing style or route to the first team.

Calvert-Lewin was brought in and almost instantly overpromoted. Lookman is now in this weird place where he isn't yet good enough for the first team but strolls about half-arsed when put back into U23s (like Vlasic).

Has Walsh managed to do a single thing right?

..I agree that he has to be culpable for the group of players we’ve got but what I don’t know is the level of culpability. It appears Moshiri blamed Koeman and there was reports that Walsh is on a ‘final warning’.

That level of culpability, that he is still here, is either down to a lack of afforded influence in player trading, which then begs the question 'what is the point of Walsh being there?', or he had a greater influence which then leads to 'why is he still in his role?'
Walsh is the big cloud hanging over the squad. Shakespeare as a connection, another. None of us know why. But to wait ages for financial ability and then end up in a pre Moyes state having spent that much needs answering and addressing quickly. We need a lot of player trading this month and I'm not confident that Walsh plus Allardyce will spend wisely at a time we need to be extremely clever and correct.

Is he back from his holiday in Turkey yet? Another one who needs binning.

Criminal how much more money has been spent on this awful squad.

And Allardyce has been talking about spending even more.

All these coaches and the solution is to buy more rot.
I really hope we can flog a few players because the squads too big as it is, if we fail to do that then the summer window is going to prove to be so difficult for whoever is in charge

Gravy Train Steve has the best job in football. He’s the most untouchable man in world football and has somehow managed to be running the club.

In his capacity he has overseen 3 awful transfer windows and managed to get his best buddy in one of the top jobs in English football, all whilst making him one of the best paid coaches in world football

This is it Eggs, we do not have a clue what is actually going on in the club. It has become all very leak proof, MI5 would be proud of them! Am neither for or against Walsh, for that matter anyone in the club until there is available some hard and fast info. Never mind the posts speculating on his or anyone else's culpability for which there is little hard facts.

Take the managerial appointment as an example, Mosh sacked RK, then it took ages for a new manager to come in the meantime Unsy stepped in. From what we are led to believe BK wanted Unsy to take over fully but Mosh over ruled that and went for Sam. Web just do not know really what is going on behind the doors.

The only matter we have a direct link to is the game on the pitch, seeing how the players perform and how the managerial staff act.
