You know what mate if this was feb/march and we were having this convo I would probably bite my tongue and grin and bear that fat headed beaut getting us to safety.

It was October he was being pushed for the job - there was, and still is, plenty of the season to salvage something and push to upper mid table... We aren't in the right part of the season to be accepting Big Sam as our saviour.
 

This inept character was appointed Director of Football and has presided over a totally shambolic 6 months which has brought the club to its knees.
Why is he still here? And why has he said nothing about the mess he has created?
Final question - what does he actually do to justify his ridiculous salary?

You don't know. Nobody does so maybe we should back off without knowing anything?

Its right up there when people were having a go at Dennis Lawrence when Martinez was here for our defensive woes when he wasn't a defensive coach.

Surely the whole point of a DOF is that you don't sack them?

His justification is in his Tan, much like Bobby Elstone.....

It makes him look like when he goes to like Italy he is actually doing something... and not sitting off in his speedos worrying about his tan lines and number 10 on the cocktail menu,

It's impossible to say for definite what'll happen by February but the stats on goals conceeded, lack of new manager bounce etc suggest we really are in trouble. The longer this continues the more likely we are to get relegated and that means no stadium and potentially no Premiership for a long time.
Why risk that if it's unnessesary? The sensible thing as SW wanted was to appoint Sam until season end then look at Silva. I know he wanted a longer contract but using some of that 10 milion we offered Watford as an incentive may have changed his mind.

What an amazing response.
I know he's the Director of Football and he's managed us to the point of oblivion.
Incredible that you think he should not be sacked. Do you want to wait until we are relegated?

I don't know what he does! Neither do you. So how can you say you want him sacked?

Our previous manager signed off on some dross and alienated members of the squad. That is why we are in a rubbish position. Also a DOF coming in after a manager is always asking for trouble.

How about the players take some of the blame for a change too actually? Most of them are utter cowards.

This is Everton in 2017. All we do is demand peoples heads randomly and point fingers at everybody. I love the fact that you think that getting rid of him will improve our current situation on the pitch in any way! It will do nothing.

He's Director of Football and failed to produce a football team. He should be sacked immediately.

And by the way. I'm not pointing a finger randomly, I'm pointing it directly at our clueless Director of Football
 
Weird one this.

Remember when he was in Italy and supposedly speaks no to Inter and AC about buying all their players and we never bought anyone?

Wish I had his job.
