Lads..the majority of the summer signings were koeman..klasson, sigurdson, rooney, keane...those are koeman signings. Walsh responsible for the younger players like lookman (who should be playing ever week) and that kid with andwrlecht

Rooney was a corporate signing, Koeman had no say in it and neither did Walsh.

Steve Walsh has only one window left to get us back on track and get a balanced squad together......average wont even cut it at this stage - it has to be exceptional. #9 been the obvious priority.

I don't think we have made bad signings, we just haven't signed the players needed for them to excel. Firstly, Keane was our best CB up until around the Sunderland game, when it appears he got an injury that we ignored resulting in his hospitalization (absolute madness). However, the lad needs a settled back 4.

Klassen has come from an Ajax team where players moved around him, he got into space and he played a very simple game. Now he might not ever cut in the prem, but the poor lad has the most narrow, pedestrian side playing around him. I would like to see him given a run of games in a side with pace and movement. It might work, it might not.

Similar for Sigurdsson, he aint going to provide assets if we haven't got a striker.

Rooney is trying to do too much but we'd be [Poor language removed] without his goals.

Sandro was always going to take time to adjust but out of all of our signings he is the one I struggle to most to see fit in...even with new signings to balance the squad.

It is difficult enough for any new player to come into a new side, especially a new league but add in the fact we have terrible unbalanced squad, with a manager changing formation every week it is only even harder.

It is also criminal we haven't signed a back up LB or another CB.

We didn't make enough signings is the problem - Striker, Center back left or right back. They were the missing pieces big time. I wish we had not got klassen an went for another striker instead.

Personally I think this is our strongest first eleven.

Pickford
Kenny Keane Williams Baines
Beni
Davies Gueye
Vlasic Rooney Lookman

Given that Keane only made it in over Holgate because of his price tag and reputation that's a pretty said indictment of the business he has done bringing in senior players.

Robbie Savage is spot on in his newspaper column today about us.
Particularly in his criticism of Walsh.

I won't quote any cos its from The Mirror.

I'm not sure how much this fella is involved in our transfer dealings but Liverpool got Mane and Sala for less than we've paid for Bolaise and Sigurdsson.

We've spent a small fortune on assembling a squad of average players. It's depressing to see.
