Do enjoy how people think there are all these hidden gems in lower tier European football and are angry that Walsh isn't signing them for us. Get a grip lol

Leicester fan here.

Have to say, the signings you've made don't feel like Walsh signings. Only Gueye does, because of his insane stats at previous clubs and also Keane because he worked with Walsh previously.

He built up a strong scouting network here at Leicester which would have helped him find/secure his targets. I'm guessing he doesn't have the same kind of support structure at your club?

As a DOF, isn't Walsh's main job to secure the signings? So maybe Koeman is specifying who he wants & it's Walsh's job to persuade the player to sign? If this is the case, then Walsh's best talents are being under utilised imo! I mean.. he was a coach with us, not just a scout. So he was on the training pitch every day, analysing & observing where we needed to strengthen & then finding the right targets.

(Apologies I don't know how your club is run/Walsh's specific role so do correct me if I'm wrong!).

@davek has been exculpated. His views have proved to be prescient. We will struggle to score goals this season with our pop gun attack. It's been another massively disappointing window which has seen us emerge with a team not as good as last season's.

The team is better than last season... bad today but horrific in the same fixture last season... unbeaten up until playing the champions away and that includes the bookies favourites away. I would rather he went for it away to these teams as we have nothing to lose really with such a poor record at these ground but overall we are better than last season and the window isn't closed yet

The thing is though frandel, we creaked past the Slovakians, a poor Stoke side and drew away at a fairly weak Croatian side. It's a bit uninspiring that's all

There is a bit of creaking for sure, rusty, new signings etc but we are level on points with spurs, a point ahead of arsenal and have played both the champs and favourites away whilst getting into the Europa league(though not pretty we never looked like losing either) it's not all bad to be fair :)
