Couldn't tell you, but the club had been linked with two Norwegian prospects since August: Sander Berge and Rafik Zekhnini. No idea if that situation has anything to do with this situation, of course.

Rafik is deemed too expensive. Dortmund seems to be favourites to sign him

Getting stick from RK it seems today. Well that's my interpretation anyway.

Too big a role for him? Above his paygrade?

Shouldnt be.

There were "issues" in the summer, but that aint the case now. Played a blinder with Gaye nevertheless.

RK having a non too disguised pop at the process should get some traction. Well, I hope it will.

I'm not slating the fella by any means, and am glad he's on board. Just unsure if the finalising of deals should be his job. He's a great scout and great judge of talent, but nailing down deals? I dunno....

Interesting what o'keefe said about the old Everton way of haggling over a few million

Like most of us, I have no idea who does the deals once a player has been targeted by either Walsh or Koeman.

I would like to think that we have moved on from the shambles we often seemed to be, but a combo of stuff on here, and stuff I have heard, makes me fret a tad.

My reading of what RK said today is that it's Walsh's job to seal deals. That worries me.

We need to learn lessons very fast here. It's very frustrating but key is that we go into next August ready to compete.

I think it's safe to say he's been an absolute disaster. I'd sack him now before he can do any more damage. Who spends 30m on an utter waster like Bolasie ffs?
