Steve Round on transfers

"It will never stop and no matter where you are in the world, in the age of the internet and emails and phones it (being on tour) is no different to being here really. If anybody signs while we're away we'll just fly them straight over - it's not an issue."

That's tripe. For example, didn't the negotiations over Naughton and Walker start in earnest after the players got back from Sheff. Utd's tour? Hands up all those who thinks Moyes will sanction a player signing whilst he's half way around the world. As someone else says on the thread, that's a story designed to stop dissent after they fly out empty handed on Monday.

Dave, my post is the NEXT BUT ONE above this one. "Someone else", disgusting.

Two transferwindows ago is just last summer. Since we didn't purchase that many players last summer, only Fellaini, Saha and Nash. And with the excpetion of Jo, I think the others we have signed will spend their time in the reserves for the most part, perhaps a few sub-ins.

So it's not that strange that they might go look at the same targets, since it's the same places we need to strengthen.

Im going to add to the excitement and musings by stating i havent got a bloody clue who Round could be alluding to. The only source i have is a red condiment in the kitchen that goes on chips.
