Some interesting analysis from the Transfermarkt website.

Beckford and Saha are the 5th most potent strike duo in the league in terms of the amount of time between either an assist or a goal for one of them.

If we were to judge it purely on assists, then they sit 18th with just 3 between them.

On goals alone, they're 10th.

In the supersub category Becks ranks 6th, scoring 3 goals during 15 substitute appearances.

Jermaine comes 7th in the league for new signings ahead of Balotelli, Ba and Bent.

Quite surprisingly, we have no one in the dirtiest player rankings.

We do, however, feature in the long term absentee category...whatever a Malleolar is!

Surprise, surprise we hold all the top positions in terms of ever-presents.

Finally comes clean sheets. It is a surprise to learn that Howard has had more shut outs this season than any of the goalkeepers at Arsenal and that only Foster outside of the Premier League's top six has kept the opposition strikers at bay on more occasions.

I would say Bily is slower than Heitinga, he's like a slug!

Heitinga's top speed was recorded at 18.32 mph compared to the slowest outfield player in the league, which is Sandro of Spurs at 16.28 mph. Besides the Brazilian, only David Vaughan (17.02 mph) and Fabrice Muamba (17.25 mph) are slower than Johnny.

At 22.37 mph Bily shares the award for being the quickest with a number of players including Odemwingie, Etherington and Rodallega.

I saw that and I think the fact that there are 12 players joint top on exactly the same speed tells you something about the calculations.

If Bily is quick then, well, I guess he's just got poor stamina and/or is lazy. Obviously that measures top speed, but what use is that if he never actually runs?
