Luke wont be the Sith, thats what they are leading you to think so it wont be.

I imagine Luke will have a small role in this film, he will be the "Yoda" character maybe even just arriving towards the end to introduce the New Jedi Order for the next two films.

I think this trilogy will follow the general theme of the original, introduction, training and setback, victory.
