From what I have seen which is not much, I am surprised that they are still using the same fighters, you X-wing etc. And the old MF, heavens. Thought such things might have moved on!

Well the new movie will be set about 50-60 years after after Revenge of the Sith?...so wouldn't expect any links to that movie....

Well Battlefront 1 and 2 covered everything Star Wars. This new one won't just cover the new film(s).
