Just watched the trailer,never been a big fan of star wars and nothings changed after that,might get it on blu ray/3D when it comes out.

Hated Star Trek before, quite liked the newer ones.

Not sure about this. I love the original Star Wars trilogy and Star Trek I-VI almost equally. Personally I think they paid a lot more attention to pacing, ideas and characterisation in those days. Since about the late-90's sci-fi blockbusters have been all about action, FX, cliched relationships and predictable conflict. Star Wars I-III and both Abrams Star Trek have all been utter pants.
