Yeah the prequels were horrendous and are borderline unwatchable these days.

i absolutely guarantee this will be amazing, The thing with JJ abrams he essentially made Star trek into Star wars, its well document the romantic storyline reflects star wars.

Agreed. I think we both liked the newer Star Treks didn't we?

Been too scared to watch the new trailer of JW. I like Chris Pratt a lot but this is all wrong.

Quite excited about this if I'm honest. I think Abrams is a sham, but I liked the first Star Trek and I think he's probably the right person for Star Wars.

absoloutly brilliant, and i was never a trek fan. Abrhams admitted he made them specifically to get star wars fans into star trek.

not sure whether i liked the first or the second one, i did well up a lot at this bit tho

Exactly the same mate. Couldn't really stand Trek before the newer ones which I found quite fun.

i've watched that non stop about 8 times, so that stormtrooper fella, he obviously turns and joins the alliance. Wonder if thats him in the tie fighter blowing up the destroyer?
