Stand up and be counted...

I was thinking last night, I think we have missed a Neville figure. We have some right idiots in the squad who are undermining Martinez. Pains me to say it, but a little snoop as a club captain like Neville really wouldn't go amiss.

Cahill and Carsley would be ideal too. The only one I can see in that mould currently is McCarthy and possible Naismith.

Missing a Phil Neville figure.

A man who bleated about joining Spurs and threw his toys out of the pram to get a new contract off the back of it.

A man who served the Club that employed him for 8 years with a writ for unpaid wages under an obscure rule.

A man who felt finishing in the top half was a great achievement.

Yeah, we will never see his like again.

Think it's more a case of needing some craft and guile in the final 3rd personally. The players were running around lots in the 2nd half yesterday but they didn't seem to have much clue how to create a chance.

That's why u can't say that the bottom 3 teams are worse...coz they do have players like that

Can the example bet set by the manager? Lets have him stood up for the counting and show his players how its done.

Oh wait...

One of the stories and accompanying pictures at the bottom of that article made me chuckle

Naisy must take the arm band. He's among the first name on every team sheet ( alongside Gaz Baz and Timmy H), and is the player that best represents the club's motto.
