Got to feel Levy has pretty much ended Kane's career this summer. I doubt anybody is going near £100m for him next year, looking more at £70-£80 maximum. If Spurs really stick with wanting to keep him then there's a good chance he wins nothing before retirement - a shame for such a player. As you say though, a six year deal with Tottenham and you're asking for it.

might run down is contract and leave for free/small fee in his early thirties. He would still be a useful addition for the top sides

The media and the so called pundits hate Spurs. We get a lot of coverage because we are in London but the vast majority of it is negative. The MSM don't like anyone that upsets the Man U, Arsenal and Liverpool money train unless they are big billionaire spenders like City and Chelsea because it means more cash for journos, pundits and social media accounts.
