Played a blinder has old Daniel. Not only has he confirmed to the whole world that he is a complete shyster whose word is meaningless. He's also managed to alienate his best player, who is now stinking up the place like one of Daniel's promises. Kane's value is depreciating by the day and they will end up selling him for a bargain price just to get him out of the door. Well done indeed Daniel Levy, a true titan of the transfer market.
I don't think Joe Lewis bothers, he's worth billions, Levy does what he says at the end of the day. if they get £80 million for what will be a nearly 29 year old with cardboard ankles it's still brilliant business.

Yeah i thought he could have been good for us

But Spurs are 19th or 20th in pretty much every metric so far

Does not reflect well on him
I wanted him mostly because he wanted to clean house here - get rid of the galloot and the other cling ons and bring in his own staff.

Spurs needed to sell Kane and reinvest.
There is a good shot they get more for him next season or summer transfer market. Spurs also seem to ship their really good players out of the prem (IMO good transfer policy!) and it doesn't look like PSG was interested while the other big clubs are in the meantime broke.
